ASHTAR THEATRE

عشتار لتدريب وإنتاج المسرح، أول مؤسسة متخصصة في تعليم المسرح للناشئة في فلسطين، تأسست في القدس في العام ١٩٩١. استطاعت عشتار وخلال عملها لثلاثة عقود، أن تثبت وجودها في ثلاثة مقترحات فنية أساسية هي: تدريب الدراما للطلبة ومعلمي المدارس، نشر المسرح المجتمعي/ التفاعلي، وإنتاج الأعمال المسرحية الحرفية والتجول بها دوليا. تهدف عشتار لدعم الشباب في المدن، والقرى والمخيمات الفلسطينية في الضفة الغربية وقطاع غزة. وتقترح أساليب جديدة ومبتكرة من أجل التغيير الاجتماعي، كما تعمل على تطوير مهارات وإمكانيات الشباب المنخرطين في المسرح وتحفزهم على التعبير الإبداعي، والحفاظ على هويتهم الوطنية والإنسانية، وتمنحهم الفرصة والمساحة للتميز.
ASHTAR for Theatre Productions and Training, is the first theatre training organization for youth in Palestine established in 1991. Its 30th years of experience is built over three artistic pillars; Drama Training, Theatre of the Oppressed, and Professional Productions. ASHTAR aims at empowering young women and men, in cities, villages, and refugee camps - in urban and remote areas, in the West Bank and Gaza Strip. It introduces new ideas and perspectives on social change, while developing the skills and technical capacities of young theatre students and professionals, providing them with a vital space for innovation and creativity.

تأسس مسرح رسائل التابع لِجمعية زهرة الشمال للثقافة والفنون، أواخر العام 2015 بمبادرة من متطوعين وموهوبين شباب في مجال الفن المسرحي وتهدف الفرقة للمساهمة الفاعلة في المشهد الفني والثقافي، وذلك من خلال انتاج الأعمال المسرحية المختلفة التي تحاكي الواقع الفلسطيني وهمومه وتطلعاته، وتهدف أيضاً إلى احتضان وتطوير مهارات الشباب الموهوبين في مدينة نابلس وما حولها وقد قامت الفرقة بتخريج 9 طلاب من البرنامج التدريبي حرسم في العام الماضي 2021، وتهدف الفرقة أيضاً للمشاركة في المحافل المحلية والدولية، بالإضافة إلى كون الفرقة تؤمن بأهمية الغرس والبناء الثقافي إلى جانب النشاط التطوعي. وبرغم قلة الإمكانات المادية أنتجت الفرقة العديد من الأعمال المسرحية المحترفة منها: على شفآ حفرة، لا تكن كومبارساً في هذه المسرحية، صخرة الموت، سكتشات رسائل، أخر دقيقة، بالإضافة للإنطلاق في توجه جديد حتّمته علينا ظروف الكورونا في الأعوام الأخير وهو مجال إنتاج الأفلام القصيرة ونذكر منها: بسطة، تحت الخط، وغيرهم.
Rasael Theater was established later in 2015, as part of Zahra Al-Shamal association for arts, with the help of talented theater youth volunteers. Rasael group, aims at contributing actively in the artistic and cultural field, through producing diverse theatrical productions, which speak to the Palestinian reality, its concerns and ambitions. It aims also towards incubating and developing talents in Nablus city, and what’s around it. In 2021, Rasael graduated 9 theater students. The group, aims to participate at the local and the international platforms, by believing in the importance of planting and building the cultural and the social aspect of society. Regardless to the limited funding, the group has produced several productions a few of them are: On the edge of a pit, Don’t be an extra in this play, The Death Rock, Rasael’s Sketches, Last Minute. Short films: Basta and Under the line.

مسرح وسينماتك القصبة مؤسسة ثقافية فلسطينية غير حكومية متخصصة تأسس في العام 1970 في القدس، وفي عام 2000 في رام الله. استطاع ان يعمل على تفعيل الحياة الثقافية في فلسطين من خلال إنتاج الأعمال المسرحية، استضافة عروض فنية في مجالات المسرح والموسيقى والرقص، إضافة إلى عروض الأفلام السينمائية اليومية، وتنظيم الأسابيع والمهرجانات السينمائية المتخصصة. يعتبر القصبة مركزا ثقافيا متعدد الاغراض مجهزا لاستقبال كافة الفعاليات والعروض الفنية ويعتبر الافضل تجهيزا من بين المراكز الثقافية في فلسطين.
A cultural NGO, based in Ramallah city. Its mission is to entertain, educate, and make a sustainable theater and cinema culture in Palestine. Kasaba Theatre and Cinematheque cultural institution of a Palestinian non-governmental specialized founded in 1970 in Jerusalem, and in 2000 in Ramallah. It stands as the only professional fully equipped multipurpose venue in the entire Palestinian territories.

مؤسسة خيرية متنوعة مقرها أكسفورد، تأسست عام 2015. تنتج عروضاً جماهيرية، وتتجول في المسارح المحلية والوطنية والدولية وتقدم التدريب للشباب من خلال التوظيف وبرامج التنسيب الإبداعي. نركز على الإدماج والارتباط، ونضمن أن يشعر الشباب والفنانين بأنهم جزء من فرقة تُسمع فيها قصصهم. مع إتاحة الفرصة للشباب من خلفيات طبقية مختلفة، أو عرقية، مثل الأفارقة أو الآسيويين أو ذوي البشرة البيضاء لتحقيق النجاح.
تقدم ماندالا حوارًا هادفًا وخلاقًا وعميقاً وناقداً بين الشباب والأكاديميين والفنانين - مما يؤدي إلى فهم أكبر واتصال أعمق، نأمل أن يغيير في السياسة في كيفية رؤية الشباب ودعمهم وإدماجهم في عملية التعليم .

We are a diverse-led, Oxford based Charity (CIO). Established in 2015, Mandala produces and tours theatre for local, national, and international audiences and offers training and pathways for young people through employment, creative training programmes and placements. We focus on inclusion and relevance, ensuring young people and performers feel part of a company where their stories are heard, offering pathways and opportunities to those from Black, Asian, ethnically diverse, and White working-class backgrounds to succeed.
Mandala offers meaningful, creative, and in-depth dialogue and provocation between young people, academics, and artists - which we believe leads to greater understanding, deep connection and hopefully a policy change in how young people are seen, supported, and included in education.
We use the power of performance and creativity to change young lives, build communities and foster social justice. We believe that the arts are a force for change and use them to connect people, influence social, policy and system change. We are dedicated to giving young people a voice, building self- esteem, self-confidence, skills, and aspirations through long-term engagement, changing the cultural landscape for employment in the arts and more widely.

يقع مسرح السرايا في يافا القديمة في مبنى قديم يعود إلى الفترة العثمانية في شارع همفراتس شلومو 10 .تأسس المسرح في العام 1998 بعد أن وافقت بلدية يافا تل أبيب على تحديث للقائم مقام العثماني، ذلك قبل أن ينتقل به إلى السرايا الجديد مبناه العتيق الذي كان مخصصاً في منطقة برج الساعة قبل الثماني واألربعين.
يقوم المسرح بإنتاج أعمال مسرحية تعبر عن المجتمع العربي وقضاياه االجتماعية واإلنسانية كما أنه يمتاز بأعمال مسرحية تربوية مخصصة لألطفال والعائالت. إلى جانب ذلك يعمل المسرح على تنظيم فعاليات ثقافية مختلفة ويطمح ألن يشكل للطاقات ً مركزا ثقافياً ومنبراً اإلبداعية المختلفة في المنطقة. يرأس المسرح الفنان فارس حنانيا والناشطة فاطمة حليوى كما يشترك في هيئته اإلدارية مجموعة من النشطاء الفاعلين في مجال الثقافة.
In 1998, The Municipality of Jaffa city in occupied Palestine, approved to renovate and open an Ottomani house that belonged to the Ottman governor of Jaffa; to become the theater house, Al-Saraya.
Al-Saraya, is a social theater, that is involved in the social and human rights issues especially in the Arabic community in Israel. Its educational theater shows directed towards children, youth and the family. Al-Saraya, is known for its cultural importance too, for it is the hub of several year long cultura events, not only in theater. It hopes to become a cultural platform for talented energies from all backgrounds and regions.

عائشة زيا كاتبة بريطانية باكستانية في المسرح والسينما. حازت على إشادة عالية من منظمة العفو الدولية في أدنبرة فرينج في عام 2013 عن مسرحيتها بيتنا الزجاجي ، و في مهرجان The Scotsman Fringe First في عام 2014 عن مسرحيتها No Glory، No Heart، No Guts. تم اختيار مسرحية No Guts ، وهي مسرحية حول ملاكمة النساء المسلمات ، لمهرجان نساء العالم في مركز Southbank ، وعُرضت مباشرة من TVC مع مركز باترسي للفنون على BBC4. تعمل عائشة حاليًا على تكليف من مسرح هامبستيد في لندن وهي زميلة أدبية في الصندوق الأدبي الملكي. هي فنانة مقيمة سابقة في Somerset House Studios في لندن ومؤسسة Jan Michalski في سويسرا.
آيونا باون مخرجة مسرحية وباحثة في العروض الفنية, عملها يستكشف السلوك البشري في ظروف سياسية واقتصادية وصحية صعبة. عروضها وأفكارها لاقت الدعم من مؤسسات فنية معاصرة مثل " لي فينيكس" " سين ناكولاني فالينسينز, المسرح الملكي سترابورد ايست، متحف كوارتر فينا، وغيرها.. جهودها لمساعدة الآخرين وصلت ذروتها في 2017 عندما خلقت إيونا برنامج العروض في المتجف الوطني للفن المعاصر في بوخاريست، حيث أنتجت العمل مع 30 فنان جديد.
Aisha Zia is a British Pakistani writer for both theatre and film. She won Highly Commended from Amnesty International at the Edinburgh Fringe in 2013 for her play Our Glass House, and The Scotsman Fringe First in 2014 for her play No Guts, No Heart, No Glory. No Guts, a play about boxing Muslim women, was selected for the Women of the World Festival at the Southbank Centre, and Live from TVC with the Battersea Arts Centre screened on BBC4. Aisha is currently under commission from Hampstead Theatre in London and is a literary fellow for the Royal Literary Fund. She is former Resident Artist at Somerset House Studios in London and Foundation Jan Michalski in Switzerland.
Ioana Paun is a theater director and performance researcher whose work explores the ways humans behave in ferocious political, economic and health circumstances. Her performances and ideas got support from contemporary performance art insKtuKons such as le phénix | scène naKonale Valenciennes, Theatre Royal Strabord East, Europalia, MuseumsQuarter Viena, Kunstraum Lakeside, CEC ArtsLink, National Theatre Iasi, Ashtar Theatre Palestine, Teatrul Mic, Schauspielhaus Wien, Schaubühne Theatre. Her efforts to support others culminated in 2017 when Ioana created the Performance Programme at the National Museum of Contemporary Art in Bucharest, producing the work of over 30 emerging performance artists.

نحن مسرح شباب كيلدير (مسرح شباب تديره شركة Crooked House Theatre في نيوبريدج). نحب أن نلعب ، وننغمس في فضولنا ، ونتحدى أنفسنا في زوجين أشكال الفن ، ولكن في الغالب في المسرح. لقد كنا معًا لمدة عامين ، وخلال هذه الفترة قدمنا عروضًا تم تنظيمها عبر الإنترنت وسافرت إلى Lyric. شاركنا في مشاريع في أوروبا في عام 2021. نحن مختلطون من الجنسين والأعراق ، ومعظمنا في المستوى الثاني أو الجامعة ندرس التخصصات القائمة على الفنون. لقد نجونا من قيود وحالات إغلاق COVID-19 ، وخضع الكثير منا للتعليم من خلال شاشة العام الماضي. لقد ساعدتنا ممارساتنا الإبداعية ومغامراتنا في الحفاظ على دوافعنا واتصالنا بالعالم الخارجي في العامين الماضيين.
We are Kildare Youth Theatre (a youth theatre run by Crooked House Theatre Company in Newbridge). We like to play, to indulge our curiosity, and to challenge ourselves in a couple of
art-forms, but mostly in theatre. We've been together for 2 years, during which time we've made shows that were staged online and that travelled to Lyric. We took part in projects in Europe in 2021. We are mixed genders and ethnicities, and mostly in second level or university studying arts-based disciplines.
We survived COVID-19 restrictions and lockdowns, and many of us experienced education through a screen last year. Our creative practices and adventures kept us motivated and connected to the outside world in the last 2 years.

يتكون مسرح آجريل من 6 شابات إلتقوا أثناء دراستهن للمسرح في جامعة جوثنبرج في عام 2018. كان المطلوب منهم تقديم عرضا نهائيا لمسرحية قصيرة وهذا ما فعلنه. تم إنتاج عمل مسرحي يتحدث عن موضوع الظلم والتغيير من خلال الكوميديا ومسرح الجسد والمسرح السياسي. تهدف الفرقة إلى مشاركة الجمهور بتجارب الحياة التي يمرون بها ومواضيع يهتمون بها مثل : الشباب، الكويرية، الانوثة، الصحة العقلية في ظل مجتمع يدعي المساواة ولكن في الحقيقة لا يزال هناك شوط كبير أمام التغيير ف مكان أصبح مريح جدا للإضطهاد.
Teater Agrell consists of six young and driven individuals, who met at the University of Gothenburg, while studying “Theater Studies” in 2018. Our final examination was to produce a short play and the six of us ended up in the same production since we all shared a vision: To create a play about injustice and change - through recognition, humor, physical and political theater. To share our own lived experinces of being young, queer, female, mentally drained, in a society that praises itself for being equal but in reality still has far to go. Our focus became how to make a change in a time and place where people have become too comfortable to even notice, even less care, about the oppression that surrounds us. When the project was finished, we didn’t feel quite done, it was just the beginning. Therefore Teater Agrell was founded.

مسرح الحرية في جنين مركز ثقافي ومسرح مجتمعي فلسطيني، تأسس في مخيم جنين عام 2006، يحمل شعار "المقاومة الثقافية"، ويعتبر أحد المعالم الثقافية البارزة في الضفة الغربية ، ويعمل المسرح على عقد ورش عمل مختلفة في مجالي الدراما وموسيقى الأطفال والشباب، حيث يقوم كادر العمل المسرحي بتدريب استشاريين من الشباب للعمل مع المشاركين من مخيم جنين، كما يوفر المسرح أيضاً دورات في العلاج من خلال التمثيل المسرحي.
ويعمل مسرح الحرية على تطوير مجتمع فني مبدع وحيوي في شمال الضفة الغربية، والتأكيد على الكفاءة المهنية والابتكار، حيث يهدف مسرح الحرية إلى تمكين الشباب والمرأة في المجتمع واستكشاف إمكانيات الفن باعتباره حافزاً مهماً للتغير الاجتماعي، ويقوم المسرح بتربية جيل جديد حر ومفكر قادر على تحدي ومقاومة كافة أشكال الاضطهاد من خلال المقاومة الثقافية.
استمد مسرح الحرية الإلهام من مشروع فريد من نوعه يدعى الرعاية والتعليم الذي يستخدم المسرح والفن لمعالجة الخوف المزمن والاكتئاب واضطرابات مابعد الصدمة والتوتر الذي يعيشه الاطفال في مخيم جنين. وقد تم تأسيس هذا المشروع خلال الانتفاضة الاولى (بيوت الطفولة)، بهدف تحدي الإمكانيات والدفع باتجاه خلق واقع بديل حيث أسس بداية في العام 1990 مسرح الحجر الذي دمّر في وقت لاحق في الاجتياح الاسرائيلي لمخيم جنين للاجئين عام 2002.
The Freedom Theatre is a theatre and cultural centre in Jenin refugee camp, occupied Palestine. We stage professional theatre productions, hold theatre workshops in the refugee camp, Jenin town and villages, offer training in acting, pedagogy and photography, and publish books, exhibitions and short films.
Since we opened our doors in 2006, we have made theatre and visual art available to every young person in Jenin refugee camp. Our work has made Jenin refugee camp known in Palestine and internationally for innovative, thought-provoking theatre and media productions. We have created a generation of artists and leaders, who one day will be at the forefront of the Palestinian liberation movement.

Al-Mahbash Theater was established in the city of Rahat in 2006, and is considered the first professional theater in the Negev to serve the Palestinian community in the south. Al-Mahbash Theater has participated in many local and international festivals, and won many awards. Since its establishment, the theater has organized several theater workshops with the aim of finding artistic cadres to work in the theater field, and to create a solid ground for theatrical work in the south.

It’s an independent theater group that has worked effectively in the cultural scene since May 2014 and till now. The group presented around 20 shows on the biggest stages in Egypt and abroad, and at international and local theater festivals where the group and its individuals received many awards

نوار بلبل مخرج وممثل شهير في سوريا وطنه، بسبب التزامه الحثيث بالحرية والمساواة. اختار المنفى بعد المشاركة في العديد من الاحتجاجات السلمية في وطنه الأم. بدأ منفاه كفنان في العام 2013 في فرنسا، حيث ابتكر Wala Shi (لا شيء) - Games of Massacre مقتبس من يوجين يونسكو.
عاش في الأردن لمدة أربع سنوات (2013-2017) حيث واصل كفاحه من أجل الحرية مع الشباب السوريين الذين لجأوا إلى الأردن وأقاموا في مخيم الزعتري. عمل مع 120 طفلاً لأداء "شكسبير في الزعتري" - وهي اقتباس عن مسرحية الملك لير وهاملت. قرر تقديم المسرحية أولاً في المخيم في اليوم العالمي للمسرح 2014، وفي النهاية في المدرج الروماني في عمان.
وفي العام 2015 ، مرة أخرى في نفس اليوم الرمزي (27 مارس)، أخرج روميو وجولييت مع مجموعة من الأطفال السوريين، وبعض اللاجئين في الأردن، وآخرين متصلين عبر سكايب، تقطعت بهم السبل في حي محاصر في حمص، مسقط رأسه في سوريا. في عام 2016 ، وبفضل دعم المعهد الفرنسي في الأردن والاتحاد الأوروبي ومهرجان شباك، أنتج "قارب الحب"، وهو عبارة عن مغامرات خيالية لفرقة مسرحية سورية تبحر إلى المنفى - الى أوروبا، حيث قدم الممثلون مشهدًا من المسرح الكلاسيكي لكل بلد وصلوها. وفي نفس العام، عاد إلى فرنسا للعمل دون قيود. في عام 2018، أنتج مونودراما "مولانا" وهي قصة نضوج دمشقية من التعليم الصارم إلى أحلام الحرية، وقدمها في يوليو 2019 ويوليو 2021 ، في مهرجان أفينيون، وبذلك حقق أحد أحلامه كفنان.
Nawar Bulbul is a famous director and actor in Syria, his home country. Due to his relentless commitment to freedom and equality, he chose exile after participating in several peaceful protests at home. His exile as an artist began in 2013 in France where he created Wala Shi (Nothing) - an adaptation of Jeux de massacre (Games of Massacre) by E. Ionesco. He then lived in Jordan for four years (2013-2017) where he continued his struggle for freedom with young Syrians who had taken refuge there. In Zaatari refugee camp, he directed 120 children to perform Shakespeare in Zaatari, an adaptation of Shakespeare's King Lear and Hamlet. He decided to stage the play first in the camp on World Theater Day 2014, and eventually in the Roman amphitheater in Amman. In 2015, again on the same emblematic day (27 March), he directed Romeo and Juliet with a cast of Syrian children, some refugees in Jordan and others, connected via Skype, stranded in a besieged neighborhood of Homs, Nawar’s hometown in Syria. In 2016, thanks to the support of the French Institute in Jordan, the European Union and the Shubbak Festival, he created Love Boat, the fictional adventures of a Syrian theater troupe sailing to exile in Europe in which the actors performed a scene from the classical repertoire of each country they came in view of. That same year, he prepared his return to France with the prospect of working without any restriction. In 2018, he created Mawlana "a Damascene coming-of-age story from a strict education to dreams of freedom". In July 2019 & July 2021, he performed at the Avignon Festival, thus realizing one of his dreams as an artist.
